Education
We support students' education by providing school supplies, scholarships and support services to help them succeed in their studies.
Humanitarian Assistance
We provide food, water, and temporary shelter to those in need. Through food packages consisting of rice, lentils, oils, and other grains, we aim to give Afghans the necessities to sustain themselves.
Healthcare
We help raise funds to pay for medical costs associated with urgent surgical procedures for children and their families.
Food Package Distribution
ESONA volunteers have distributed hundreds of food packages consisting of rice, vegetable oil, lentils, beans, salt, and other grains. With no income, many of these families survive on only $1 a day, making Afghanistan one of the poorest nations in the world. Food insecurity has been one of the main concerns, with children going to sleep hungry many nights.
ESONA Monetary Support
ESONA has provided widows, orphans, families with no breadwinners, and the disabled with financial aid to support their needs. Our volunteers have distributed food and monetary assistance to help families pay for rent, medicine, and food.
